Mixing Instructions
By Weight (recommended): 100 parts powder : 30–35 parts water
By Volume: 3 parts powder : 1 part water
- Measure clean water into your mixing container
- Slowly add Resin Casting Powder to the water
- Let powder absorb for ~30 seconds
- Stir gently for 1–2 minutes until smooth and lump-free (consistency of heavy cream)
- Avoid whipping in excess air
Pouring & Demolding
- Place silicone mold on a flat surface and pour slowly
- Tap mold to release air bubbles
- For detailed molds, brush mixture into fine areas before filling
- Demold after 2–3 hours; allow 24 hours for full cure before finishing
Finishing Options
Once fully cured, castings can be painted, waxed, glazed, antiqued, dry-brushed, sanded, distressed, drilled, or adhered to furniture with wood glue
