Hi! I'm Michelle, and I run Serendipity House with a focus on excellent customer service, fast shipping, and safe packaging. Here's everything you need to know about how we get your order to you.

We pride ourselves in excellent customer service with fast shipping and safe packaging. We typically ship within 1-2 business days via USPS which includes tracking. The exception is a Federal holiday, the first / second week of a new IOD release and “Pre-Orders.”

We are proud to offer Free Shipping to the contiguous United States on order over $125. These products do NOT include Paints, Pentart, Saltwash, Epoxy, Liquids, IOD Wood Gallery Board Blanks, IOD Rollers, Kits. Once these items are included in your cart, standard shipping costs will apply. For large orders containing paint and IOD, it is most cost effective to place separate orders. Free Shipping will not apply to unusually large orders that require multiple boxes, as we are not wholesalers. Please contact us to chat, we’re always happy to help out— we’re real people here running a small business. 

Orders qualifying for free shipping will be shipped via ground service.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns unless an item is faulty. Please contact us within 24 hours with photos of damaged product. 

Once your package leaves our facility, please follow your tracking number for delivery updates. Please note that estimated delivery dates are just that — estimates. No shipping service guarantees a specific delivery date. If your item appears lost in transit or was delivered to an incorrect address, please bring your tracking information to your local post office. They can track who delivered the package and where it was left. If your order contains damage incurred during shipping, you will also need to take this up with the shipping company. 

IOD Transfers, paint inlays, decoupage papers, and similar items may be packed in a variety of ways depending on the other contents of your order. These items may arrive curled, rolled, or slightly bent — this does not affect the integrity or quality of the product.

Paint, Pentart and orders that include liquid will be held in freezing weather so it does not freeze. The purchase of Route protection at checkout is strongly advised in the winter months as well as year long for large paint orders to guarantee replacement should your paint freeze or become damaged during transport.

How Shipping Works

Processing & Shipping Time: We generally ship via USPS within 24-48 hours of receiving your order, and every package includes tracking. During new product releases, shipping may take a bit longer due to volume, but we'll keep you updated.

Exceptions: We don't ship on Sundays or Federal holidays. Orders containing pre-order items or furniture will ship according to the timeline noted on the product page.

Your Shipping Cost: You'll see your exact shipping fee at checkout (before you enter payment info). If there's ever a miscalculation, we'll refund you the difference.

Need signature confirmation or UPS shipping instead of our standard carrier? Just reach out and we'll make it happen.

International Orders
