Let’s paint a piece of furniture together, step by step!
Are you new to painting furniture? Are you unsure of how to do it “right”? This online interactive class is for you if you want to learn how to how to find a piece to refinish, how to get your project ready for paint, basic paint techniques, and how to seal and protect your finish. Paint a piece to last! Michelle will discuss different paint types as well as sealing with wax versus a water based sealer.
Let’s be honest, though— you will also learn WHY! WHY choose certain furniture, WHY use certain paint types and WHY use certain finishes. I don’t know about you, but I have always been THAT person who asked “But why?” That’s because when you know why, you can build on your knowledge and troubleshoot down the road. You’re paying for the HOW AND the WHY!
You will decide which type of paint products to use, and be instructed appropriately. I’ve used all types and most brands. That said, I have my favorites and will be using DIY Paints. YOU do not have to use the same brand!
We will cover: what to look for when hunting for furniture, how to tell age, simple repair, veneer removal & repair, priming, bleed through strategies, paint, distress techniques, sealing options.
Here’s how we’ll do it:

Following purchase of the workshop, you will be invited to a private FB Group which is where the workshop is held.

Enrollment is limited so you get the attention you need to complete your furniture project. We are painting together, each one of us with our own piece of furniture step by step!
